💦 Step 1 – Wet the hair:
Gently wet baby’s hair and scalp with comfortably warm water. For very young babies, hair can conveniently be washed during bath time.

🫧 Step 2 – Apply a small amount:
Place a small amount of HiPP Babysanft Baby Shampoo into your hand. Baby hair requires only a small amount of shampoo.

🤲 Step 3 – Massage gently:
Carefully distribute the shampoo over the wet hair and gently massage the scalp using your fingertips. Avoid vigorous rubbing of baby’s delicate scalp.

🚿 Step 4 – Rinse thoroughly:
Rinse the shampoo completely with clean, comfortably warm water. When washing very young babies, position the baby’s head so that the rinse water flows away from the face.

🧸 Step 5 – Dry without rubbing:
After rinsing, gently pat the hair and scalp dry with a soft towel. Do not rub the hair vigorously.

🪮 Step 6 – Gentle grooming:
If needed, use a soft baby brush suitable for the sensitive scalp.

How Often?

For babies and toddlers, hair usually does not need to be shampooed every day. HiPP recommends regular bathing around 2–3 times per week, while washing the hair approximately 1–2 times per week is generally sufficient, depending on individual needs.
